# IELTS Speaking Part 1: Breakfast

## IELTS Speaking Part 1 Breakfast

Do you think breakfast is important?

Yes, absolutely! I think breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives me the energy I need to start my day right. When I have a good breakfast, I feel more alert and focused, which really helps me stay productive.

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

I try to keep my breakfast healthy. I often have something like eggs with avocado on toast, or sometimes I make a tortilla filled with lots of veggies. I like to think of it as eating the rainbow, you know, getting a variety of colors on my plate to keep it nutritious and interesting.

Would you like to change your morning routine?

Apart from getting up earlier, I don’t think I’d want to change much. I should really work on waking up earlier so I don’t have to rush in the morning. That way, I could enjoy my breakfast more and maybe squeeze in a little bit of exercise or meditation.

Are there any differences between the mornings of your childhood and now?

Oh, definitely! When I was a child, my mom always prepared breakfast for me, so mornings were super chill. I’d just wake up to the smell of pancakes or eggs—it was the best! Now that I live alone, I’ve gotta do everything myself – cooking, cleaning up, getting ready – it’s a lot. Mornings now feel way more hectic, but I guess it’s all part of being an adult.
