Sample Answer

I’d like to talk about Finn, who has been one of my best friends for as long as I can remember. In fact, we’ve known each other our whole lives because we live next door. We went to the same kindergarten, primary school, high school, and even ended up at the same university — so he’s practically like family to me.

Finn is quite tall and slim, with short brown hair and warm brown eyes. He’s usually smiling, which makes him really approachable. When we were kids, we used to fight quite a lot — probably because we spent too much time together — but as we grew older, we started to get along really well.

We have a lot in common, especially our love for chess and hiking. On weekends, we often go hiking or camping together in the nearby mountains. Sometimes we just sit by the campfire, play chess, and talk for hours about life, dreams, and all sorts of random things.

What I really admire about Finn is his personality. He’s incredibly curious — the kind of person who always asks questions in class or reads science books just to find answers. He’s also kind-hearted; he often volunteers at school events or helps out around the neighbourhood.

The main reason Finn is one of my best friends is that he has always stood by my side through thick and thin. We’ve gone through both good and bad times together, and no matter what happens, he never leaves me when I need him. His support means the world to me, and I honestly can’t imagine my life without him.
